Personal Statement:

During my tenure as a Household Manager, I found the importance of being flexible while upholding the standards set by my principals and myself.  Detail conscious, orderly and organized, it is a lifetime goal of mine to never stop learning and serving other people.

I was born and raised in Wing, North Dakota, a rural Midwestern town with a population of 222. Both of my parents were school teachers for the Public School for 35 years, and gave my older brother and myself a passion for learning. Since my parent’s were raised in farm families, they valued time spent with family.  I have fond memories of the holidays and gatherings we attended.  It was fun being able to bond with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Today, I am happily married with a son that is 2 years of age.  In fact, since having our own child, it has made me realize how important family is and how much we need to cherish each other.

Not only do I place great value in integrity and work ethics but also in detail, organization, and the ability to anticipate needs before they are verbally expressed.  I am very methodical, both in my own processes and with managing the staff.  For example, when training staff for cleaning and care of fine items in luxury homes, my approach is to discuss, educate, demonstrate, and make sure staff is able to clean as thoroughly as I do myself.  Strong attention to detail is essential in the care of fine furniture, chandeliers, rugs, automobiles, silver, custom hardwood floors, artwork, and crystal. Even high end faucets and appliances need special care.   To expedite the cleaning system, task sheets and zoning of households are essential.

I also have experience in care and maintenance of men’s custom made and women’s high end clothing.    I was responsible for the organization of principals’ closets, care of watch & jewelry collections, care of fine shoes/boots, care of luggage, packing of suitcases for travel on short notice, dry-cleaning deliveries, and organization & transportation of clothing for travel events in vehicles or aircraft.    I do have experience in pulling together entertaining events as well.

I am especially skilled in the maintenance demands of high-end properties.  From integrating the Smart Home Technology to overseeing vendors to performing the work myself, I am mechanically-minded.  I love being outdoors and making sure the grounds are kept perfectly landscaped with beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers.
