Private Service Certification Programs

1. Certified Household Management ProgramThe Certified Household Management Program is Starkey’s full Household Management Course for all those seeking to enter the Private Service Profession. .

 

2. Certified Manager ProgramThe Certified Managers Program is Starkey’s Household Management Course for those with a minimum of three years of prior service, culinary, or hospitality experience.

 

3. Certified Personal Assistant ProgramThe Certified Personal Assistant Program is Starkey’s new Household Management Course for those with a minimum of three years of prior Executive Assistant experience.

 

4. Systems ProgramThe Certified Household Management System Program is Starkey’s patented Service Management Model and Management Tools Course and Software for those who are currently working in Private Service.

 

These essential Private Service Management offerings provide actual training in our state-of-the-art Starkey Service Management System. This unique Service Model is especially designed for the Private Service Professional. In addition, these unique programs provide practical learning in Daily Graces, management techniques and technology, Housekeeping and Maintenance, identifying Flavor Profiles and Menu Planning, Principal and Household Staff Interaction, Formal Entertaining, Etiquette, Protocol, Safety, Security, CPR, First Aid, and more.

 

Each of the Institute’s instructors possesses the experience and knowledge necessary to train students effectively. Programs are evaluated regularly to address the needs of an evolving service profession. Our "Restoring the Art" Conference presents an annual industry-wide international Private Service Management event. Additionally, expert seminars are provided throughout the year.

 

 

 

Certified Household Management Program

 

Certified Household Management ProgramStarkey’s essential Eight-week Certified Household Management Program and the Four-week Certified Manager’s Program provide Household Service Management Certification. The distinction between the programs is that the Certified Manager’s Program is a high-bred and accelerated educational experience and expects students to be well-versed in service and technical skills. This four-week program is focused on Service Management and does not teach Culinary skills. These students must be service professionals ready for an intensified program that demands after-hour study.

 

The Certified Household Management Program is comprised of 360 curriculum hours, whereas the Certified Manager’s Program requires 255 curriculum hours.The Certified Household Management Program is divided into the following educational tracks:

This patented service management tool is a highly sophisticated model for organizing and managing service expectations. Certified Personal Assistant ProgramNow celebrating 25 years in Private Service Education, Starkey International is introducing the first of its kind Personal Assistant Certification Program beginning in 2007. This 4-week Personal Assistant curriculum is 180 hours of intensely unique training focusing on the Starkey Service Management System, Administration and Technology, Event Planning and Entertaining, Human Resource Management, and Travel and Concierge Services. The Service Management System and Software track focuses on Starkey’s exclusive Private Service Management Model, the core concentration for all Personal Assistants.
